SCHEDULE WITH CORI

Associate

Cori is a dedicated Marriage and Family Therapist with a specialized focus on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). With a passion for helping individuals and couples navigate their emotional needs, Cori believes each person has the need to feel seen, heard, and safe. She encourages individuals to explore and embrace their intrinsic worth and attachment needs, which she believes is essential for overcoming self-doubt and building healthier connections with others.

Drawing on her passion and training in EFT, Cori guides clients through complex emotional challenges, fosters deeper connections, and facilitates healing and peace. Her approach emphasizes understanding and addressing the underlying emotions that influence behaviors and interactions, ultimately helping clients achieve lasting change and emotional resilience.

Her therapeutic approach combines evidence-based techniques with a sensitivity to each client’s unique spiritual beliefs and practices. Whether addressing marital conflicts, family dynamics, or personal challenges, Cori works to create a supportive and judgment-freel space where clients feel empowered to explore their values, beliefs, and aspirations. She views therapy as a collaborative journey where clients can reconnect with their inner strength and discover new pathways to resilience and fulfillment.

After experiencing the heartache of losing a child and navigating the emotional challenges of infertility, Cori developed a profound understanding of the unique and often isolating aspects of grief that accompany these experiences. She channels her personal journey into her professional work, offering an empathetic and informed perspective to those who experience deep hurt, trauma, relationships struggles, and personal hardships.

"What's the bravest thing you've ever said?"
asked the boy.
"help."
said the horse.
"asking for help isn't giving up," said the horse.
"it's refusing to give up."

How can

help?

Psychotherapy works by creating a trusting therapeutic relationship, identifying problematic thoughts, and teaching tools to shift those thoughts and change problematic behaviors. Therapy also creates an environment where safe, healing, and connecting relationships between family members can take place. A good therapist will help you feel less overwhelmed, less alone, and more empowered in your life. Many people report feeling more hopeful even after just one session.
