Nikki has been seeing clients since 2009. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young University and her Master's from COAMFTE accredited Alliant International University, which is the highest MFT accreditation in the nation.
Nikki has extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy which is the only empirically validated couple's therapy model and has been proven through research to be effective and successful. She is an ICEEFT Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist. In the state of Utah there are only 15 other therapists who hold this prestigious certification. She is also an AAMFT approved supervisor in training.
She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including community clinics, LDS Family Services, an inpatient psychiatric hospital and private practice.
She also works with people who are looking to change their thinking and live happier, more fulfilling lives. She works with individuals, couples, and families who are dealing with anxiety, depression, family conflict, marriage problems, divorce and blending families, faith transitions, and LGBTQIA+ issues as well.
