Our therapists utilize a variety of therapy models and theories of change to move you from stuck and overwhelmed to a place of healing and growth.

Payment & Insurance information

We can do in person or telehealth therapy sessions with anyone who resides in the state of Utah. If you live outside the state of Utah, contact us for information on coaching.


Rates:
Intern- $75
Associate- $150
Fully Licensed- $175-$200

We accept cash, check, debit/credit, or HSA cards.


Each insurance company sets their own rates. Please contact your network to confirm pricing for your plan. Please note that our associate therapists bill under their supervisor's name.

We recommend asking your insurance the following questions:
-Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
-Do I have a deductible? If so, how close am I to meeting that?
-Does my plan limit how many sessions I can have per calendar year? If so, what is the limit?
-Do I need written approval from my physician for mental health services to be covered?

We are currently (as of March 2026) becoming paneled with the following insurance companies:
-Aetna
-Select Health
-Blue Cross/Blue Shield
-EMI
 
We expect to be accepting the above insurances by summer 2026.
Please note that in order for insurance to cover therapy you must have a mental health diagnosis, otherwise you will need to private pay.  Contact us with questions.

At The Family Therapy Clinic we believe that you are the expert on your life. And even experts get stuck sometimes.

Our clinicians have advanced training and supervision in Emotionally Focused Therapy (for couples, families and individuals). This is our primary modality.
